Why Join PRA?
The Public Relations Association of Central Illinois is an organization made up public relations and marketing communication professionals. Our members vary from employees at large mid-sized firms to not-for-profit agencies and self-employed freelancers.Meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month from September through May from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Topics presented by guest speakers who offer a wealth of knowledge in communications.
Annual dues are $45 for an individual membership. Members are provided with contact information for current members.
In addition . . . The Bill Burdon Memorial Resource Library, housed at the Peoria Public Library, contains books on public relations and marketing communications topics. PRA honors a public relations professional for excellence in a campaign or project each year with the Pat Landen Communications Award. The Gold Star Media Award, new last year, honors members of local media organizations for community service projects and efforts. This year we will also work with Bradley University to strength our presence among students with a fall social and spring shadow day.

Corporate Memberships
Corporate Memberships are now available. The discounts are as follows:
- 3-6 members are $40 per person
- 7-10 members are $35 per person
